Doulas are trained birth companions that offer women and birthing individuals advocacy, knowledge, physical comfort, emotional support, and information during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. A doula's assistance can lower the need for medical procedures, including as cesarean sections, lift your spirits and make your birthing experience more enjoyable, and boost the success of your nursing journey! Mama Care assists in identifying doulas in the AV community for hire or education purposes.
